Radio by state

Nigeria radio dial spans all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. On this page you will find every station we list, grouped by where it broadcasts from: 301 live streams across 32 states.

Lagos and Oyo dominate, home to the country biggest commercial stations, but the real character of Nigerian radio lives outside the big cities. Kano Hausa broadcasters, Enugu community stations, Bayelsa local-language programming: each state has its own sound, its own presenters, and its own loyal audience. Pick a state and listen.

Questions we hear a lot

How many Nigerian states are on liveradio.com.ng?
We list live stations from 32 states plus the Federal Capital Territory. That covers every state with at least one active radio station in our directory.
Which state has the most radio stations?
Lagos leads with 65 stations, followed by Oyo with 57 and the FCT with 26. Those three account for the majority of Nigerian broadcasters, reflecting their roles as media hubs.
Can I listen to radio from my state on my phone?
Yes. Every station streams directly in your mobile browser. Tap play, then the audio keeps running even if you browse to another page or switch apps.
What if my state is not listed?
Two reasons: either we have no active station for that state yet, or the station is offline and has been temporarily removed. Tell us which station you miss and we will add or restore it.
Is the audio the same as the FM broadcast?
Yes and no. It is the same live broadcast, sent to you over the internet instead of over the air. Audio quality depends on the station own stream, not on our site.
Missing a state or station?

Send us the station name and stream link, and we will add it. Or browse all stations directly.
